Olomouc (Olla-moats) is a city in Moravia, in the east of the Czech Republic. Located on the Morava River, the city is the ecclesiastical metropolis and historical capital city of Moravia. A must visit place in Olomouc. Located within walking distance of the old city centre. Weird location and entry (ground floor of an apartment building, through the apartment entry hall), but once inside very spacious yet cosy as well. Extensive list of beers, they have patio during summer time.

A place that clearly isn’t used to seeing any tourists. On the other side of the railroad A place where only locals come. So don’t expect any one to speak English. There are a few beers but they are mostly bottled beer, they also sell other brewery beers on tap!

A good little brewpub not far from the main square. Normal selection of three beers (that seems standard in Czech Republic & Germany) Great food and friendly staff.

The restaurant opend in the heart of the town in 2015 and is designed in a modern style, guests can watch beer production while having a pint or two, through a window in the floor. They have 3/6 beers at the moment including a great USA Weiss bier. You can enjoy their locally source food, such as; cheese in beer batter, Taliani, ribs, spicy wings, hamburgers and other delicacies. For wine lovers, they have a wide range of the best Moravian wine.

A brewery by the highway that opened in Feb 2022. Its all self-service (cutting personal costs) it is unbelievably expensive for average quality of meals (portions rather small). Also you have to pay for the Toilets! They brew and bottle on the premises. Go there for the "ticks" if you want?

A nice modern brewery and restaurant in suburb of Olomouc. Their desitka is amazing. They usually have six beers on tap. The meals are tasty, they have daily menu specials. The staff are polite and knowledgeable. Recommended.
Pivovar Melichárek, 1.máje 10, Horka nad Moravou.
Just a little further afield you with find this great little brewpub serving traditional unfiltered pivo, along more progressive styles. Great friendly service and traditional food. A great biergarden in the summer months.
Pivovar Litovel A.S. Sladkovského 158/32, 779 00 Olomouc.
A larger brewery, that offer tours by arrangment only (week days), plus a mini kit that you can even try your hand at brewing.
Hanácký pivovar, Šlechtitelů 139/14, Holice
Located next to St. Wenceslas, Moritz and Riegrocvka. Very good access to public transport buses in Olomouc, whether from the Central Station bus line 13 or 23 from the city center and transport hub mainly from Marketplace. They brew top and bottom fermented beers. Great and very friendly service. Excellent beer. Also available in pet bottles, glass. Take cash only 😊

AXIOM Pub Olomouc, Panská 175/4
A classic brewery tap for Axiom Pivovar with a really large selection of beers. Mainly from the AXIOM Brewery. Everyone will find something for themselves there are seventeen taps, plus cans and bottles. Located in the center of Olomouc. Pleasant premises with extremely pleasant employees with knowledge and commitment relating to beer. A great addition to the cities beer scene. Note they have a sister pub in Brno.
LOCAL LOCAL PUB Industy, Zeyerova 809/17, Hodolany, Olomouc
A basement Craft Beer Pub at eastern part of Olomouc. On one of the larger streets heading for main railway station, Hlavni Nadrazi. Formerly named U Naftare. A very local lokal, as name indicates. A slightly uninspiring entrance down some steps from the street, you enter a robust, industrial inspired interior, there are about ten tables. American bigband 50s music in the background, providing A really relaxing atmosphere. They have a great selection of craft beers and the staff are super nice. Definitely recommend this place if you enjoy real ale in convivial surroundings.

A tiny cellar bar on a park-side street serving an amazing rotating selection from seven tap of obscure Czech unfiltered beers. A genuine homey atmosphere where locals drink and chat the night away. Feels like your Grandma’s living room, or furnished basement! There is also outside terrace seating for smokers. Great beer food and friendly service.

A great dive bar/pub. Their choice of craft beer options are some of the best you can find in Olomouc. The atmosphere is nice, and you are more likely to join other conversations, since you usually have to share a table with other people.
Retro Pivnice, Havlíčkova 661/11
A retro pub that is in the 80's style. The name fulfills what it promises: you feel like your in your grandmother's house! There are 12 beer taps(plus bottled & canned). Service is very pleasant. They also offer some meals like sausage, pizza... It is expensive in comparison to some pubs in Olomouc but standard beers can still be bought for below 40kc which is not outrageously expensive. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming even for a tourist. It's a nice change from bland corporate pubs without feeling hostile to anyone. Note: Only cash accepted.

An amazing little pub in the center of Olomouc. A large selection of frequently changing beers from small breweries. Delicious beer food, sausages, brawn, cheese, pork cracklings etc. Very often totally overcrowded! It’s that good.
