Located in the Hradec Králové Region of Bohemia. The city's economy is based on food-processing technology, photochemical, electronics manufacturing services and IT. A great place to have a beer in Hradec Králové. The brewpub is in the cellar of a historical building. Inside it is farly modern, with vaulted ceilings of brick and white plaster, the furniture is no frills pine and you can admire the huge steel brew-lit and beer tanks. They serve variety range of there "Klenot" range of Pivo. The beer is a reasonable price considering it is the very city centre of Hradec. The menu is Czech based but with a lighter gourmet touch. They have vegetarian options. The meals were beautifully presented and scrumptious. Great service from English speaking staff who are clearly proud of the place they work and the product they sell. All Czech beer is good ;) but this was an especially enjoyable. Overall a nice, quiet atmosphere, very good service, tasty food and beer. I can recommend this place any time.

Open Daily 14.00 - 23.30
A very pleasant place, very traditional inside with dark wooden panelling on the walls, vaulted ceilings and more dark wood furniture. There is also an outside deck area if the sun is shining. The atmosphere is pretty cool and friendly. They have 10 taps serving various specialties from small Czech breweries, Kocour, Matuska etc. from a centrally located bar. The beer prices very good. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. There is a modest Czech cuisine. selection, at great value prices. A Non-smoking place like most in Czechia now. It is very popular in the evening, so it is hard to get seat as a rule, all are reserved. I would defiantly recommend.

Located outside the ring road, so about 30 mins walk from the centre. A small prefab pub with "covered beer garden" where you can enjoy a large number of special beers, which are constantly changing. Inside is quite cosy with normal chairs and benches, lots of beer memorabilia on the walls, a central bar with 8 taps and a large4 selection of chilled bottles. They also have some small snacks to soak up the Pivo! The side of the pork with beer is renowned, but there are also tasty sausages. Note they prepare cash to Card for payment. Propably one of the top 3 best beer spots in town. Recommended for Czech beer lovers.

One of legendary places to drink Pivo in Hradec Kralove. An underground maze of a place with vaulted ceilings, as you go further into the pub the older it gets with bare bricks. The furniture is simple with bench style tables and chairs, The bar is centrally located with 10 taps and a couple of fridges full of interesting beers. Lots to do with a cool Jukebox, table football and darts all helping to create a cool vibe. Lots of traditional punk and student type's are normally in. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. No food but there are lots of fast food places nearby. A definite must do bar if you are in town.

A beautiful little pub in the city centre. Inside it has vaulted ceilings and is painted a "forest" green colour, there are about 6 tables, plus you can chat standing at the bar. They have 5 taps serving beer from small breweries plus the menu changes constantly, with Pivo from the likes of Clock, Žamberk, Ředic, Mordýře, Potštejn etc Beer snacks are served. What’s not to like? It has a pleasant quiet atmosphere, knowledgeable and friendly service and the option to pay by card is really super. Well worth seeking out for a pint or three.

This is a restaurant in the former buildings of the city fortress, reminiscent of storage cellars near the station in Breslau. Located right outside the main square in the centre. Inside it is a brick arch with large wooden beams. It is more a restaurant than pub, good priced tasty food in a modern Czech style. It is also the outlet of Minipivovar Kubík, plus a few guest breweries, so soem tasty Pivo is to be had. Nice service. A popular place, can be packed in the evenings and at the weekend. Definetely would recommend it if you are tired of the noisy city centre atmosphere.
Hostinec Malý Růžek, Škroupova 726/13

An oasis of peace and delight in a "rural" environment in the centre of town. This is a cosy little cafe bar with only 4 tables inside, with a couple of benches outside in the small garden in front of the pub. Its quite modern inside with eight taps serving beers from Czech microbreweries that change regularly. Very good price's for the beers and food, The food is modern gourmet burgers, sub's and ribs. There is a great atmosphere created by the background music of old school rock. I highly recommend visiting. Oh and it's dog friendly.

A cosy bar located in a side street near the river. They have eight taps serving and excellent choice of beers from the likes of Trilobit, Hostivar, Trautenberk etc. There is a perfect kitchen where you can dine on Czech specialties that they do not have anywhere else in town? Always nice service with a smile, even if they are quite busy. It is a nice alternative to the main tourist bars. Inside it is quite modern looking with large pine tables and bench style seating plus and eclectic mix of wooden chairs. plus in the summer there is a garden available until 22:00 that is nice and shaded. You can pay by credit card always a plus point. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

A specialized beer shop and pivotek. Located right outside the Pivonka. The staff are friendly and speak some English. The stock 200+ bottles. Mostly from East Bohemia, but some Belgian and other continental hard to find beers. The assortment is complemented by various beer souvenirs, such as beer passports. They also run an e-shop where you can order goods in advance, and collect in the store or have them sent to an address. They also have a huge selection of schnapps. Good prices. For beer geeks I would definitely recommend.
